March 30-31, 1979, Bottom Line, New York City, NY
The LEGEND tour hits the Big Apple. Stood in line in the rain for over two hours for standing room tickets. Turns out Dennis Richards was in line talking to me (small world). Ended up standing about two feet from Rusty’s steel guitar. Almost passed out when Rusty went “vertical” for the whole show with an electric guitar! Forgot who opened but he greeted shouts of “Poco!’ with “I get an hour…kiss my ass!” To this day I do not recognize the encore.
