Concert Memory
Poco was Rusty and Paul that night. The House was half empty, but the boys played for at least two hours. They took a short break between sets, which they spent talking to friends. I sat about twenty feet away at a table by the rail. Hearing them for the first time without drums and bass was amazing. I remember Paul doing a great acoustic version of Bad Weather and Rusty playing what seemed like a 15 minute dynamite solo on the lap steel. They became a legend to me that night.
