Concert Memory
I attended a Poco concert in late January or early February of 1983 at the Front Row Theater in the Cleveland suburb of Mayfield Heights. (The theater is no longer in existence.) As I recall, there was no opening act. In December of that year, the show was awarded the “Best Concert: Small Venue” by the music critic of the {Lake County News Herald}, the newspaper that covers the eastern suburbs of Cleveland. I remember the critic mentioned in his year end summary column that this show was so good that it stayed “top of mind” throughout the entire year . I tried to find the column, but the newspaper’s on-line archive doesn’t go back that far.
