Concert Memory
I just happened to check the site for concert dates and stumbled upon this page. I was at the Carlton West concert in Green Bay, WI in 1983. I know I have some pictures but would have to do some digging. I do remember it was snowing that night and it took awhile to get the 25 miles from Appleton to Green Bay. (The Carlton was the place for shows at that time and shortly after burnt to the ground and was never rebuilt). I remember enjoying the music so much, I had never seen POCO before and they have always been one of my very favs……Whenever I want to feel good I listen to something…….I love the older stuff but NEVER tire of “Running Horse”. I’d have to say it is one of my favorites. My BABY sister is only 27 and we turned her on to Poco, she loves it too! We got a chance to see them in Oshkosh WI at Waterfest a couple years ago and the guys all signed and talked to fans after the show, They are ever so humble…….I was lucky enough to get my jean jacket signed. My husband and I check the waterfest schedule every spring in hopes they’ll come back someday.
