Concert Memory
The opening act was Rosie Flores. If you note the # in the top right corner of the ticket, that’s the # for each ticket sold. I bought the first 3 tickets sold to that show. As it turned out, there were EXACTLY 9 people at that show. Can you believe it ? I had brought my album cover for Pickin Up the Pieces which Rusty graciously signed for me and I actually apologized to both he and Paul Cotton on behalf of N.Y. I told them I was embarassed at this turnout, especially from a city that has always embraced Poco and their music. They both laughed and said it was no big deal, and that they were glad that I was there. They then went out and performed as if there were 5,000 people in the house.
