Poco 1985 Concerts

Poco moves to Nashville to court Music Row and return Poco to its country-rock roots. Rusty and Paul reform the band with original member George Grantham returning on drums. After lengthy auditions, former Podipto bassist Jack Sundrud joins. A record deal falls through when Poco refuses to bow to Nashville’s limited perspective. Without a record deal, times prove tough, and there isn’t much promoter interest in Poco. Without road income, Grantham departs again for a steady paycheck. Poco’s live schedule is now limited as the band enters a near-dormant stage.
