Poco continues with its most productive year in decades. The band films a concert for DVD release early in the year with founder Richie Furay and a number of guests. They also secure the release of the long overdue LAST ROUNDUP live CD from 1977. But the gains are overshadowed by the health of founding drummer George Grantham. He suffers a stroke onstage in Massachusetts in July. Thankfully, the effects are not life-threatening, although he is unable to continue with the band. Rusty calls on George Lawrence to play drums for the remainder of the tour.
