The horse is put out to pasture (sort of). After nearly half a century on the road, Rusty Young decides that Poco is retiring. Although he had hoped that 2013 would be the final year, there are sufficient dates booked that Poco’s life extends through the summer with scattered shows. Even after appearing at their “final” show at the Mendocino Music Festival, there are rumblings that more shows may be in the works.
