Concert Memory

What an incredible night! A truly unique experience to see the founders of Poco on stage together and clearly enjoying themselves. There were so many memorable moments but one of the most amazing was to hear the old Poco arrangements to songs like ‘You Better Think Twice,’ ‘A Good Feeling to Know’ and ‘Kind Woman’ with Rusty on pedal steel. A real blast from the past. Paul’s rendition of ‘Honky Tonk Downstairs’ was another wonderful memory. A standing room only crowd jammed the venue and the room was filled with the aroma of a certain hemp variant. That led to the comedy for the night when Jack was late coming in to the second verse of ‘Shake It’ and Rusty chided him for breathing in too much. I thought the Loggins & Messina tunes ‘Listen to a Country Song’ and ‘Holiday Hotel’ worked very well as Poco songs. They could have fit on the second Poco album very well as performed by the band. A tremendous night and a very exciting show.
