After a quiet year in the wake of the reunion of the original group, Poco returns to the concert trail as Young and Cotton reform the band with Richard Neville on bass and Tim Smith on drums. Former manager Larry Larson takes over as manager of this edition of the group with instructions to gauge interest. Larson quickly finds there is enough promoter interest that Poco stays together beyond their trial period. But, as the promo photo attests, Poco is for all intents and purposes, a duo at this point.
